Combining a remarkably compact size with outstanding image-rendering abilities, this lens allows comfortable, rapid shooting. The specially developed DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens system, used in the Lumix DMC-F7, combines light weight and compact size, and delivers the high performance characterized by the Elmarit name. The DMC-F7 2X Zoom lens comprises seven elements in six groups. Including two aspherical lenses, this lens system offers F2.8-F4.0 brightness and a focal distance of 5.3 mm to 10.6 mm. The 2X zoom lens system is equivalent to a 35mm to 70mm lens on a 35mm camera. The lens also features the advanced multi-coating process.
