The EX-S3 even features Casio's quick response feature that has become a trademark for all its digital cameras. Casio's unique technology enables the camera to power up and be available to shoot in just 0.9 seconds. Original Casio technology also enables a shutter release time lag of 0.01 second, resulting in almost instantaneous image capture after pressing the shutter release button. A new cradle design allows the 2" LCD to face the user as images are being downloaded. The built-in Photo Stand feature, via one-button access, also enables users to view images saved in the memory on an "automatic slide show".
Picture Reversal assumes that there is no need to flip your camera over when you want to share images with another person. Press a button and the camera flips the image for you. The camera will store and display images in date order on a unique calendar system, which lets you see which images you have taken and when, in a month to view format, providing a handy visual record of your activities. Casio's famous BEST-SHOT function has been extended to the EX-S3. With fifteen pre-programmed settings, quality images are almost guaranteed whatever the environment. Casio's "Coupling Shot", for instance, allows two subjects to be placed together in a single image, without the need to enlist the help of a passing local.
